Pancreatic cancer will likely become the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States in the next few years and has a dismal single digit 5-year survival. Given the severity and poor prognosis of this disease, it is imperative to gain a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms that contribute to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
