He was appointed to The Scripps Research Institute Skaggs Scholar. He was one of the contributors to the American College of Radiology (ACR) and American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) for several clinical guidelines (Radioembolization with Brachytherapy Device Yttrium-90 microspheres and Total Body Irradiation). He gave refresher courses at the annual ASTRO national meetings (2001, 2005, and 2006) on the topic of “Vascular brachytherapy” and “Radiation therapy for benign diseases”. He serves as a member of the ASTRO Annual Meeting and Program committee, Information Technology Development and Resource Committee, and Targeted Radionuclide Therapy Committee. He also serves as reviewers of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics and Medical Physicsjournals.
