This focused issue on “Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer in Advanced Age” is edited by Dr. Vincent Vinh-Hung, from University Hospital of Martinique, Bld Pasteur, Fort-deFrance, Martinique, France; and Dr. Nam P Nguyen, from Department of Radiation Oncology, Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, DC, USA

Dr. Vincent Vinh-Hung now serves as the Chair in Department of Radiation Oncology in University Hospital of Martinique and the President of the International Lymph Node Ratio Group and Director of Clinical Research of the International Geriatric Radiation Oncology Group. Dr. Vincent Vinh-Hung’s clinical and basic research focuses on Breast cancer, geriatric oncology, biostatistics, quality of life and palliative care research, translational research, intraoperative radiotherapy, intensity-modulated radiotherapy, and image-guided radiotherapy.

Dr. Nam Nguyen is a radiation oncologist in Washington, District of Columbia. He received his medical degree from Universite de L'Etat a Liege Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He currently is Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology Department, Howard University.
