Published: 2019-06-21

We are pleased to announce to our readers that Translational Cancer Research (TCR) has attained its latest impact factor for the 2018 citation year: 1.07.

Translational Cancer Research is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). The journal features original, science-based investigations on the clinical, basic, and translational aspects of cancer research which successfully advance clinical medicine towards the goal of improving the patients' quality of life.

A journal’s impact factor is a measurement of citation frequency that reflects the average number of citations to articles published in science and social science journals. Impact factors are calculated annually for those journals that are indexed in the Clarivate Analytics Journal Citation Reports. The impact factor of a journal in a given year is the average number of citations a paper published in that journal received during the two previous years. The impact factor is often used to rank the relative importance and scientific caliber of a journal within its field.

Here, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Editorial Team Members, Guest Editors, authors, and reviewers for their significant contributions. We look forward to the continuous cooperation with all the above mentioned and those who are interested in translational cancer research to bring more exciting content to readers in the coming future.
