CircNT5E—a promising new player in glioblastoma tumorigenesis

Abstract

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain neoplasm, and is characterized by high aggressiveness and unfavorable prognosis. Generally, even with surgical intervention followed by irradiation, the median overall survival for GBM usually does not exceed 15 months.
